CARTERSVILLE, GA -- An Acworth family recently helped Tellus Science Museum reach a milestone.

Meredith Pitts and her children, three-year-old Jackson and 11-month-old Natalie, visited the museum on Friday, Jan. 21. Upon arriving, they were informed that Tellus had officially reached 400,000 visitors, thanks to them.

"We saw on the Web site that Tellus was approaching 400,000, but we didn't expect it to be us," said Meredith. "I thought it would be fun if it was us, but I wasn't expecting it."

Tellus Science Museum opened on January 12, 2009. It is located off of I-75 Exit 293 in Cartersville.
