COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- The Cobb Community Relations Council is pleased to announce the recipients of the first Creating Community Awards.

This honor is given to a person, group or business that fosters local cooperation and demonstrates innovative ideas for connecting Cobb's many diverse communities.

Each county commissioner chose a winner from his or her district:
