ACWORTH, Ga. -- Chattahoochee Technical College will hold a large job fair for students and the community later this month.
The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school's North Metro Campus in Acworth.
More than 60 employers are scheduled to attend, according to CTC Career Services Coordinator Lucylle Shelton. Participating companies include Aaron's, Inc.; American Family Insurance; CarMax; CNN; Kaiser Permanente; and MARTA.
"Employers are looking for applicants with up-to-date skills who can talk about their skills and are confident about what they have to offer," said CTC Career Services Specialist Annette Davis. "There is a big demand for applicants with hands-on experience who are educated in their field. Those are the types of students we have at Chattahoochee Technical College."
Job fair attendees are asked to dress professionally and bring plenty of copies of their résumés.
