ACWORTH, Ga. -- Georgia State Patrol is asking for the community's help in locating a vehicle that struck and killed an Acworth man on Saturday.
Larry Ward, 31, was killed around midnight while he walked along Kellogg Creek Road near Romain Drive.
According to investigators, the car that struck Ward is likely a 1989-1992 Ford Explorer or Ford Ranger, and the vehicle's grill is likely damaged.
Anyone with information on this vehicle or accident should contact the Georgia State Patrol post in Jasper at 706-692-4835 or the Calhoun office of the GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team at 706-624-1484.
