Main Street to close for homecoming parade | News

ACWORTH, Ga. -- Acworth's Main Street will be briefly closed Thursday afternoon to accommodate the North Cobb High School Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally.

The street will be closed between Lemon Street and Morningside Drive from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Police spokesman Wayne Dennard said detour routes will be marked. Drivers are still advised to avoid the Main Street area if possible.
