Local Community Emergency Response Team pushes disaster preparedness | News

COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- The Community Emergency Response Team recently volunteered at the North Georgia State Fair to help spread disaster preparedness.

While at the fair, the team was visited by Cobb County Manager David Hankerson. the CERT team helps people through education programs, as well as training in basic response skills, including fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.
