ACWORTH, Ga. -- An Acworth man has scored hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Georgia Lottery.

Roy Pulliam, a retired Lockheed Martin industrial engineer, won a $232,648 jackpot prize after matching all five winning numbers in the July 21 Fantasy 5 drawing.

"I'm thrilled," said Pulliam, who bought his lucky ticket at the Publix on Seven Hills Boulevard in Dallas.

The 71-year-old winner, who has four children and six grandchildren with wife Dianne, learned the good news when he checked the results on the lottery's website.

"I couldn't believe it," he said. "I jumped up and down, hollered and screamed."

Pulliam said he created a checklist of projects that he will complete with his winnings.

Winning numbers from the July 21 Fantasy 5 drawing were 3-6-11-14-23.
