WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- A dry eye could not be found as bestselling author Jennifer Skiff welcomed the crowd at The Divinity of Dogs book signing event at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Downtown Woodstock on Friday, October 26, 2012. FoxTale Book Shoppe has become the place in the entire southeast for book launches and book signing events and this was no exception. From the bestselling author of God Stories, an uplifting collection of inspirational and heartwarming stories from people who have encountered the divine through their dogs. As millions of people know, dogs teach us about patience and love, they comfort us when we’re feeling most alone, and they even perform miracles.
A percentage of sales from the book launch of The Divinity of the Dog went to Our Pal's Place whose mission is to provide solutions to resolve current animal welfare issues. One day they hope to successfully go out-of-business because their rescue, adoption and education services are no longer needed! FoxTale co-owner Ellen Ward said, "We were thrilled to welcome Ms. Skiff to Woodstock and at the same time help support Our Pal's Place. Although we are partial to the fox, we also love dogs!"
FoxTale Book Shoppe will be hosting events in November and December with such well known chefs as Buddy Valastro from The Cake Boss, Nathalie Dupree, and Johnny Gabriel along with other bestselling and up and coming new authors. To learn more, you can visit their Facebook page or website.
